Decks with Pergolas in Pennsylvania

Smucker Brothers Construction has built many decks in Pennsylvania with pergolas attached. Having a pergola on your deck offers several advantages and can increase the value of your property. Decks with pergolas add a nice finishing touch to your outdoor space and offer additional shade for a sitting area. Pergolas are also often utilized over tables or grilling areas.

Vinyl and wooden pergolas are available. Wooden pergolas are custom built on-site and vinyl pergolas are installed during the deck build.

This involved removing our present roof entirely, building a knee-wall raising the height of the house one-foot and then building a new roof six-feet higher than the old roof. Building dormers in the roof they were able to construct five rooms, adding a new floor to our house. I was very impressed with the engineering and use of pre-fabricated beams to construct the new floor on the house. Mike Smucker led the construction with a regular crew of six skilled workers. Very dependable they always arrived on time and it was a pleasure to watch them work. The result is a beautiful home.

Hired Smucker Brothers to replace an aging wood deck with composite material and all porch posts and railings to aluminum, which was just completed. Mike came out for the estimate also brought up a few things he noticed that needed attention, job started a week or so later. His brother Dave and his crew were always on time every day and did a outstanding job from start to finish with such attention to detail, work site was always kept clean daily, Dave was always around to take questions or address any concerns. Price was slightly higher than some competitors but well worth it. I would not at all hesitate to recommend or use again. Absolutely a 5 star contractor which is hard to find these days.
