These guys are the absolute best. The workmanship is impeccable. They are fast, and they are as honest as the work day is long. We have had them do two decks for us, and the results have been fantastic.

From our initial meeting with Mike, we knew Smucker Brothers was who we wanted to use for our 1800's farmhouse addition. Mike was very responsive during the planning phase and he showed genuine interest in our project. Once construction began the excellent communication continued through our project manager Keith. Over the 5 month build Keith kept us informed of the timeline and who would be on site each day. Smucker Brothers crew were very professional and the subs they partner with possess those same qualities. After each day our site was cleaned up and ready for the next days work. We highly recommend Smucker Brothers for all of your construction needs big or small. We will certainly use them in the future for additional projects.

We hired Smucker Brothers for our kitchen renovation. Weaver's custom cabinets, freedom, tile, and other trades like Austin, electric, plumbers and painters all did a great job. What I was most impressed with was Alvin's attention to detail and how good of a carpenter and general Handyman leon was. They were all experts at their Kraft and Alvin was such a pleasure to work with. He's very reasonable and understanding. He took his time to make sure the job was done right the first time. He always listened to my concerns and went the extra mile. Nothing but great things to say about this company and their subcontractors. We did have a bit of an issue with the appliance installation due to the inset cabinets, but it was most likely a lack of communication with the appliance installer and Weavers. In the future I would go with the appliance company recommended by Smuckers.

We cannot say enough great things about Smucker Brothers Construction. What started as our old 15-year-old deck turned into an absolutely stunning outdoor living space, and the entire experience—from design to final completion—was exceptional. They began with a thoughtful design process and patiently worked through multiple revisions with us to make sure every detail was exactly right. That care and attention truly shows in the finished product. The old deck was completely removed and replaced with a beautifully built new deck, part of which is now an enclosed, metal-roofed screened-in porch that feels like an extension of our home. The screened porch includes a sliding door, a gorgeous wood-board ceiling with a skylight, ceiling fan and lighting, outdoor heaters, and a stunning wood-burning stone fireplace with a TV—making it a perfect space year-round. They also installed a large new double Andersen door leading into the house, repaired the exterior stucco, painted, and completed new gutters and drainage around the porch area. Everything was handled seamlessly. They extended the deck to include an open portion with deck lighting and a beautiful seating area on the deck. The outdoor kitchen is beyond anything we imagined—two refrigerators, a very large gas grill, an outdoor pizza oven/oven, a outdoor sink my wife has always wanted, and plenty of storage for everything we need. The craftsmanship, communication, and professionalism from Smucker Brothers Construction were outstanding throughout the entire project. They treated our home like it was their own and delivered a finished space that exceeded our expectations in every way. We now have a truly incredible outdoor living area that we enjoy daily. If you’re looking for a construction company that listens, designs thoughtfully, and delivers top-quality work, Smucker Brothers Construction is second to none. Highly, highly recommended!

I reached out to several local companies to discuss completing an addition to our home, and Smucker Brothers stood out as the only team confident in taking on the project. They provided a clear timeline that they adhered to, which was impressive. Keith and his team were consistently present every morning, regardless of the weather, and their dedication to hard work was evident throughout the process.

We recently completed an addition and full kitchen remodel with Smucker Brothers Construction, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Mike, Keith, and the entire team are true craftsmen of the highest quality — they take no shortcuts, and every detail was executed to the highest standard. What truly sets them apart is how consistently they overdelivered. Multiple times throughout the project, they went beyond what was written in the contract, adding thoughtful touches and creative solutions that exceeded our expectations. It’s rare to find a company that not only does what they promise but surpasses it in meaningful ways.Another thing that really stood out: they never tried to gouge us with change orders. The only changes were ones we requested, and they still came in on budget and on time — without the constant add‑on costs we’ve almost come to expect with other contractors. That honesty and integrity gave us tremendous peace of mind throughout the project. In addition to the quality of their staff, the subcontractors they partner with were also outstanding. The tradespeople who came to our home demonstrated the same high level of skill, professionalism, and attention to detail, and they all worked seamlessly together — which made the entire process remarkably smooth. The result is a beautiful new addition and kitchen that feel custom-built for our family. We’ve worked with other contractors in the past, and Smucker Brothers is truly in a league of their own. If you’d like to hear more about our experience, feel free to contact Mike Smucker and reference this review — he has my permission to connect us.
